Increasing your metabolism is an excellent way to lose body fat and the good news is there are some simple things you can do to kick start it.

3. Crank Up The Cardio

A cardio workout is a great way to burn calories and the longer and more intense it is, the more calories you will burn. Your metabolism will also speed up for several hours after you finish as you continue to burn fat. Find an exercise you enjoy so it won’t feel like such a chore.

4. Snack Between Meals

Snacking may bring back fond memories of scoffing chocolate or eating crisps, but snacking can be healthy. Eat when you hungry filling up on fruit and vegetables which will keep you full and content. You will find it difficult to stick to a weight loss plan if you are always hungry.

5. Pump Some Iron

Lifting weights and building muscles is an excellent way to speed up your metabolism. Muscle burns up to five times more calories than fat. More active muscle tissue will have you burning more calories all through the day.
